HAPALUA HALF MARATHON RUN
The HAPALUA HALF MARATHON RUN will be held
on SUNDAY, APRIL 14, 2024. Roads
will close from 3:00 a.m., and the race is scheduled to start at 6:00
a.m. The course will start on Kalakaua
Avenue, near the Duke Kahanamoku Statue, and proceed through the Waikiki, Ala
Moana, Downtown, and Diamond Head areas.
Approximately 10,000 runners are expected to participate. TheBus will
service all bus stops along the detoured route.

to Kapiolani Community College: No detour. (Buses will not service Kalakaua/Ena)
Eastbound: Monsarrat/Kalakaua
buses: TheBus will travel the regular route to Kuhio/Kapahulu, left Kapahulu, right Leahi,
left Monsarrat, left Campbell, left Kapahulu to
Kapahulu/opp Campbell terminus. (Buses will not service Kalakaua/Ena)
Westbound: Buses
from Kapiolani Community College: No detour. (Buses will not service Kalakaua/Ena)
Westbound: Monsarrat/Kalakaua
buses: From the Kapahulu/opp Campbell, TheBus will continue on Kapahulu, and
then resume the regular route. (Buses
will not service Kalakaua/Ena)
ROUTE 4, NUUANU-PUNAHOU-MCCULLY
Eastbound: TheBus will travel
the regular route to McCully/Ala Wai, continue on
McCully, left Kalakaua, and then resume the regular route.
Westbound: No
detour.

PAUOA-WOODLAWN
Eastbound: TheBus will travel the regular route to Auahi/
Kamakee, left Kamakee,
right Queen, onto Waimanu, left Piikoi,
and then resume the regular route.
Westbound: TheBus will travel the regular route to Kona/Mahukona, left Mahukona, left
Kapiolani, left Pensacola, right Waimanu, veer left
to continue on Queen, left Kamakee,
right Auahi, and then resume the regular route.
ROUTE 8, MAKIKI-ALA MOANA-WAIKIKI
Eastbound: TheBus will travel the regular route to Kapiolani/Kalakaua,
continue on Kapiolani, right McCully, left Kalakaua,
left Kuhio, left Kapahulu, right Leahi
to the temporary terminus at Leahi/Hinano.
Westbound: From the temporary terminus on Leahi, TheBus will travel right Monsarrat, right Paki, and then resume the regular route.
ROUTE 13, LILIHA-WAIKIKI-UNIVERSITY
Eastbound: TheBus will travel
the regular route to Kapiolani/Kalakaua, continue on
Kapiolani, right McCully, left Kalakaua, and then resume the regular route.
Westbound: No
detour.

Westbound: From the temporary terminus on Leahi/Hinano, TheBus
will travel right Monsarrat, right Paki, left
