FULL CLOSURE TO ‘EXIT
16’ - WESTBOUND AIRPORT
OFF-RAMP FROM H-1 FREEWAY
The Hawaii Department of Transportation
(HDOT), Highways Division, will conduct full nightly closures of the ‘EXIT
16’ westbound off-ramp to
install in-lane rumble bars. The closure will be from
the H-1 Freeway towards the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL
Airport), starting on TUESDAY, NOVEMBER
12, 2024, UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE, from 6:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m., Tuesdays
through Thursdays. During the closure,
traffic will be detoured onto Nimitz Highway, where they may access the Daniel
K. Inouye International Airport (HNL Airport).

Buses will DETOUR as outlined below:
ROUTE 303,
HICKAM-AIRPORT-KALIHI TRANSIT CENTER
Eastbound: No detour.
Westbound: TheBus
will travel the regular route to Kalihi Transit Center/Middle, left Middle to
Middle/Kamehameha, right Kamehameha, onto Nimitz, left Rodgers, right Aolele, veer left to take ramp for Airport Upper Level,
proceed to Inter-Island stop, and then resume the regular route.
