KAIMUKI CHRISTMAS PARADE

The KAIMUKI CHRISTMAS PARADE will be held on THURSDAY, DECEMBER 5, 2024. The parade will begin at the entrance of the St. Louis/Chaminade campus, and continue east on Waialae Avenue to the corner of Koko Head Avenue and Waialae Avenue. TheBus will service all bus stops along the detour route.

AFFECTED ROUTES:	1, 1L, 7, 14, & 200
AFFECTED AREAS:	The eastbound lanes of Waialae Avenue will be contra-flowed from 3rd Avenue to Koko Head Avenue.
DATE:	Thursday, December 5, 2024
TIME:	5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., unless directed by Police.

Buses will DETOUR as outlined below:

ROUTE 1, KALIHI-KAHALA

ROUTE 1L, HALAWA-HAWAII KAI

Eastbound: TheBus will travel the regular route to Waialae/3^rd, veer into the eastbound contra-flow lane on Waialae, and then return to the eastbound lanes after crossing Koko Head.

Westbound: TheBus will travel the regular route to Waialae/Koko Head.

ROUTE 7, KALIHI VALLEY-KAHALA

Eastbound: TheBus will travel the regular route to Waialae/3^rd, veer into the eastbound contra-flow lane on, to Waialae/Koko Head, continue on Waialae, right 13th, right Harding, left Koko Head, and then resume the regular route.

Westbound: No detour.

ROUTE 14, ST. LOUIS-MAUNALANI

Eastbound: No detour.

Westbound: From Sierra/Waialae, TheBus will turn left into the eastbound contra-flow lane of Waialae, resuming regular route to Waialae/Koko Head, continue on Waialae, right 13th, right Harding, left Koko Head, and then resume the regular regular route.

ROUTE 200, KAPIOLANI PARK-PALOLO VALLEY

Eastbound: TheBus will travel the regular route to Waialae/3^rd, veer into the eastbound contra-flow lane on Waialae to Waialae/Palolo, turn left and cross over into the westbound direction for contra-flow lane of Waialae, onto Palolo, and then resume the regular regular route.

Westbound: No detour.
