KALAHEO AVENUE AND KAILUA ROAD

ROUNDABOUT IMPROVEMENTS

KIEWIT INFRASTRUCTURE WEST CO. will conduct Phase 8 of construction improvements to the Kalaheo Avenue and Kailua Road roundabout. Therefore, a portion of Kalaheo Avenue at the roundabout will be closed, from WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 8, 2025, 24 HOURS A DAY / 7 DAYS A WEEK, UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. All westbound traffic heading out of the Lanikai community will be detoured through Kailua Beach Park during this period. The Beach Park driveway exit will be reconfigured as an entrance-only access into Kailua Beach Park. As a result, the bus route will be affected and will incur traffic delays throughout the work area. TheBus will service all bus stops along the detour route.

AFFECTED AREA:	Road closure at Kalaheo Avenue and Kailua Road Roundabout.
STARTING:	Wednesday, January 8, 2025, until further notice.
TIME:	24 hours a day / 7 days a week, unless directed by Police.

Buses will DETOUR as outlined below:

ROUTE 671, KAILUA-LANIKAI

Eastbound: No detour.

Westbound: TheBus will travel the regular route to Lihiwai/Beach Park driveway, right Beach Park driveway to continue into Kailua Beach Park, onto Kailua to Kailua/Kalaheo roundabout, right Kalaheo, left Kuulei, left Kainalu, right Kailua, and then resume the regular route.
