BUS LANE CLOSURE - KING STREET AND PUNCHBOWL STREET INTERSECTION

HIILAWE CONSTRUCTION, LLC, will close the bus lane of travel through the King Street and Punchbowl Street intersection for milling and paving. Therefore, the bus stop at King Street and Punchbowl Street (Stop #131) will be closed, starting from 7:00 p.m. on MONDAY, JANUARY 13, 2025, THROUGH 7:00 a.m. WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 15, 2025. This closure is necessary for the curing and pavement to settle before reopening the bus lane. All eastbound buses (except Routes 20, 42, and westbound Route 4) are to service the designated portable bus stop before immediately veering left into the next lane of traffic to continue through the intersection. Passengers may board buses at the portable bus stop located 100 feet prior to the King Street / Punchbowl Street (Stop #131) bus stop. TheBus will service all bus stops along the detour route.

AFFECTED AREA:	No service to King Street / Punchbowl Street (stop #131).
STARTING:	From 7:00 p.m. Monday, January 13, 2025, through
ENDING:	7:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 15, 2025, unless directed by Police.

Buses will DETOUR as outlined below:

ROUTE 4, NUUANU-PUNAHOU-MCCULLY

Eastbound: No detour.

Westbound: TheBus will travel the regular route to Beretania/Punchbowl, continue on Beretania, left Richard, left King, right Punchbowl, and then resume the regular route.
