KALAHEO AVENUE AND KAILUA ROAD
ROUNDABOUT IMPROVEMENTS
KIEWIT INFRASTRUCTURE WEST CO. will implement the final phases of the construction
improvements to the Kalaheo Avenue and Kailua Road roundabout. Therefore, the
portion of Kalaheo Avenue at the roundabout will be closed, from THURSDAY, MARCH 13, 2025, UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. The closure
will be in effect 24 HOURS A DAY / 7
DAYS A WEEK. During this period, all westbound traffic on Kailua Road must detour
through Kuulei Road via Kalaheo Avenue. As a result, the bus route will
be impacted, causing traffic delays across the work zone. TheBus
will service all bus stops along the
detour route.

Eastbound:
No detour.
Westbound: TheBus will travel the regular route to Kalaheo/Kailua roundabout,
continue on Kalaheo, left Kuulei, left Kainalu, right Kailua, and then resume
the regular route.
