ROAD CLOSURE - H-1 FREEWAY WESTBOUND

ON THE AIRPORT VIADUCT

 

The HAWAII DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION will close the three right lanes of the H-1 Freeway / Airport Viaduct westbound, starting at 8:00 p.m., on FRIDAY, APRIL  4, 2025, THROUGH 4:00 a.m., on MONDAY, APRIL 7, 2025.  The lane closures is needed to conduct concrete deck repairs and repaving work.  During the closure, traffic will be detoured onto Nimitz Highway.

 

AFFECTED ROUTES:

52, A, C, E, W1, & W2

AFFECTED AREA:

Reduced lanes of H-1 Freeway between Keehi Interchange and Pearl Harbor Interchange.

STARTING:

8:00 p.m. on Friday, April 4, 2025

ENDING:

4:00 a.m. on Monday, April 7, 2025, unless directed by Police.

 

Buses will DETOUR as outlined below:

 

ROUTE 52, HONOLULU-MILILANI-HALEIWA

ROUTE C, COUNTRY EXPRESS! C


 

Eastbound:    No detour.

 

Westbound:   TheBus will travel the regular route to Kamehameha/Middle, right Middle, left Kaua, onto Moanalua Freeway, take EXIT 1C H-1 WEST-PEARLCITY, merge left onto H-1 West, and then resume the regular route.

 

ROUTE A, CITY EXPRESS! A 

 

Eastbound:  No detour.

 

Westbound: TheBus will travel the regular route to H-1/AIRPORT/PEARL HARBOR EXIT, continue onto Moanalua Freeway, take EXIT 3 PUULOA ROAD/TRIPLER HOSPITAL, left Puuloa, right Nimitz to Nimitz/Valkenburgh, crossover Valkenburgh, veer left onto Kamehameha, after crossing over Center, and then resume the regular route.

Westbound:   TheBus will travel the regular route to H-1/AIRPORT/PEARL HARBOR EXIT, continue onto Moanalua Freeway, take EXIT 1C H-1 WEST-PEARLCITY, merge left onto H-1 Freeway West, and then resume the regular route.
