HAPALUA HALF MARATHON RUN

The HAPALUA HALF MARATHON RUN will be held on SUNDAY, APRIL 13, 2025. Roads will close at 3:00 a.m., and the race is scheduled to start at 6:00 a.m. The course will start on Kalakaua Avenue, near the Duke Kahanamoku Statue, and proceed through Waikiki, Ala Moana, Downtown, and the Diamond Head areas. Approximately 10,000 runners are expected to participate. TheBus will service all bus stops along the detoured route.

AFFECTED ROUTES:	2, 4, 6, 8, 13, 14, 20, 42, 60, 65, 66, 67, 200, E, W1, W2, & W3
AFFECTED AREAS:	Abbreviated service in the Diamond Head, Kapiolani Park, Kalakaua Avenue, Ala Moana Boulevard, and Downtown areas.

Buses will DETOUR as outlined below:

ROUTE 2, SCHOOL-WAIKIKI-KAHALA

Eastbound: Monsarrat/Kalakaua keys: TheBus will travel the regular route to Kuhio/Kapahulu, left Kapahulu, right Leahi to the temporary terminus at Leahi/Hinano. (TheBus will not service Kalakaua/Ena)

Westbound: Monsarrat/Kalakaua keys: From temporary terminus on Leahi, TheBus will travel right Monsarrat, right Paki, and then resume the regular route. (TheBus will not service Kalakaua/Ena)

ROUTE 4, NUUANU-PUNAHOU-MCCULLY

Eastbound: TheBus will travel the regular route to McCully/Ala Wai, continue on McCully, left Kalakaua, and then resume the regular route.

Westbound: No detour.

ROUTE 6, PAUOA-WOODLAWN

Eastbound: TheBus will travel the regular route to Auahi/ Kamakee, left Kamakee, right Queen, onto Waimanu, left Piikoi, and then resume the regular route.

Westbound: TheBus will travel the regular route to Kona/Mahukona, left Mahukona, left Kapiolani, left Pensacola, right Waimanu, veer left to continue on Queen, left Kamakee, right Auahi, and then resume the regular route.

ROUTE 8, MAKIKI-ALA MOANA-WAIKIKI

Eastbound: TheBus will travel the regular route to Kapiolani/Kalakaua, continue on Kapiolani, right McCully, left Kalakaua, left Kuhio, left Kapahulu, right Leahi to the temporary terminus at Leahi/Hinano.

Westbound: From the temporary terminus on Leahi, TheBus will travel right Monsarrat, right Paki, and then resume the regular route.

ROUTE 13, LILIHA-WAIKIKI-UNIVERSITY

Eastbound: TheBus will travel the regular route to Kapiolani/Kalakaua, continue on Kapiolani, right McCully, left Kalakaua, and then resume the regular route.

Westbound: No detour.

ROUTE 14, ST. LOUIS-MAUNALANI

Eastbound: TheBus will travel the regular route to Kapahulu/Ala Wai, right Ala Wai, left Ohua, left Kuhio, left Kapahulu, right Leahi, left Monsarrat, left 18th, right Kilauea, right Elepaio, left Kahala, and then resume the regular route.

Westbound: TheBus will travel the regular route to Kahala/Paikau (Triangle Park), right Paikau, right Diamond Head, onto Monsarrat, right Paki, and then resume the regular route.

ROUTE 20, WAIKIKI-ALOHA STADIUM ROUTE 42, EWA BEACH-WAIKIKI

Eastbound: TheBus will travel the regular route to King/Punchbowl, continue on King, veer right onto Kapiolani, right McCully, left Kalakaua, left Kuhio, left Kapahulu, right Leahi to the temporary terminus at Leahi/Hinano.

Westbound: From the temporary terminus on Leahi/Hinano, TheBus will travel right Monsarrat, right Paki, left Kapahulu, right Kuhio, onto Kalakaua, left Kapiolani (TheBus will not service Kalakaua/Kapiolani and Kapiolani/Kalakaua), right Alapai, and then resume the regular route.

ROUTE 60, HONOLULU-KANEOHE-HALEIWA

ROUTE 65, HONOLULU-KANEOHE-AHUIMANU

ROUTE 67, HONOLULU-KAILUA-WAIMANALO

Eastbound: TheBus will travel the regular route to Bishop/Queen, left Queen, onto Waimanu, left Piikoi, and then resume the regular route.

Westbound: TheBus will travel the regular route to Kona/Mahukona, left Mahukona, left Kapiolani, right Alapai, left Beretania, left Bishop, left King, left Alakea, and then resume the regular route.

ROUTE 66, DOWNTOWN-KAILUA-AIKAHI

Eastbound: No detour.

Westbound: From terminus Bishop/King, TheBus will travel left Queen, left Alakea, and then resume the regular route.

ROUTE 200, KAPIOLANI PARK-PALOLO VALLEY

Eastbound: From the temporary terminus, TheBus will continue on Leahi, left Monsarrat, and then resume the regular route.

Westbound: TheBus will travel the regular route to Paki/Kapahulu, cross over Kapahulu, onto Ala Wai, left Ohua, left Kuhio, left Kapahulu, right Leahi to the temporary terminus at Leahi/Hinano.

ROUTE E, COUNTRY EXPRESS! E

Eastbound: TheBus will travel the regular route to King/Punchbowl, continue on King, veer right onto Kapiolani, right McCully, left Kalakaua, left Kuhio, left Kapahulu, right Leahi to the temporary terminus at Leahi/Hinano.

Westbound: From the temporary terminus, TheBus will continue on Leahi, right Monsarrat, right Paki, left Kapahulu, right Kuhio, onto Kalakaua, left Kapiolani (TheBus will not service Kalakaua/Kapiolani and Kapiolani/Kalakaua), after crossing Kamakee, and then resume the regular route.

ROUTE W1, WAIPAHU VIA FARRINGTON EXPRESS
