KALAHEO AVENUE AND KAILUA ROAD

ROUNDABOUT IMPROVEMENTS

KIEWIT INFRASTRUCTURE WEST CO. will continue construction improvements to the Kalaheo Avenue and Kailua Road roundabout. Therefore, the portion of Kalaheo Avenue at the roundabout will be closed from FRIDAY, APRIL 11, 2025, UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. The closure will be in effect 24 HOURS A DAY / 7 DAYS A WEEK. During this period, all traffic heading in both directions on Kailua Road must detour through Kuulei Road via Kainalu Drive. As a result, the bus route will be impacted, causing traffic delays across the work zone. TheBus will service all bus stops along the detour route.

AFFECTED AREA:	Road closure at Kalaheo Avenue and Kailua Road Roundabout.
STARTING:	Friday, April 11, 2025, until further notice.
TIME:	24 hours a day / 7 days a week, unless directed by Police.

Buses will DETOUR as outlined below:

ROUTE 671, KAILUA-LANIKAI

Eastbound: TheBus will travel the regular route to Kailua/Kainalu, left Kainalu, right Kuulei, right Kalaheo, after passing Kalaheo/Kailua roundabout, and then resume the regular route.

Westbound: TheBus will travel the regular route to Kalaheo/Kailua roundabout, continue on Kalaheo, left Kuulei, left Kainalu, right Kailua, and then resume the regular route.
